Come visit, travel by tractor train through our orchards and taste under the magical oak tree canopy. Owner led and individually designed to suit groups requirements this is a unique, real organic farm taste and tours attraction catering for the interests of the culturally curious and specialist groups including product tastings and visit to the distillery and farm shop. We are 5 generations on the farm and tailor our client’s interest for each tour e.g. local family history, biodiversity food processing, sustainability. We also have a distillery having multi award winning apple products including apple brandey, apple rum, cider, balsamic vinegars and apple syrups to taste. Let us tempt you but booking essential and minimum group size.

From apple to bottle, partake in living organic farming with a tractor train tour through the organic orchards, a visit to the distillery ending in our stone built 17th century mill with a sampling of our delicious Single Estate organic cider vinegar, syrups and apple spirits. Your Guide will explain the process that creates the distinctive flavours and character of our organic cider, apple gin, apple rum and apple brandey, meeting the owners for a chat on local history, and of course, The Highbank Story of five generations.

  • Our guided tours last approximately one and half hours.
  • Free Parking
  • We welcome small groups as well as coaches.

What customers and visitors are saying about Highbank Orchards

Close up of apple blossom on tree branch.
I loved each and every detail of your orchard. Thank you for taking the time to give us your tours and explain how it all came to be... from the stones, to the equipment, the history - it was wonderful and the highlight of my trip!
I've taken many distillery tours but this was memorable simply for the personalization of the tour they offered.
Uniquely tranquil, Highbank Orchards offers a taste of rural Ireland to remember.
