The following rules and regulations apply to all visitors to or users of the Highbank Orchards web site, the home page of which is at www.highbankorchards.com. By using this web site, you agree to be bound by these rules and regulations, as they may be modified by Highbank Orchards at any time and posted on this web site. In the event of a violation of these rules and regulations, Highbank Orchards reserves the right to seek all remedies available by law and in equity.
Ownership of rights
All rights, including copyright, in this website are owned by or licensed to Highbank Orchards. Any use of this website or its contents, including copying or storing it in whole or part, other than for your own personal, non-commercial use is prohibited without our permission. You may not modify, delete, distribute or post anything on this website for any purpose.
Eligibility
In order to make a purchase through Highbank Orchards website or to use some of the services or features made available to you on our website you will be required to register. When you register, you will be required to provide information about yourself including, but not limited to, your name, telephone number and email address, which is true, accurate, current and complete in all respects. Should any of your registration information change in future you are required to amend your personal online account immediately. We may change registration requirements from time to time. Furthermore, when ordering items, you will be required to provide payment details and you represent and warrant that the payment details you provide on ordering are both valid and correct and you confirm that you are the person referred to in the billing information provided.
Accuracy of content
Every care has been taken in the preparation of the content of this website, in particular to ensure that the details, descriptions and prices quoted are correct at the time of publishing.
Ordering errors
You are able to correct errors on your order up to the point at which you click on 'Confirm Order' on the Shopping Basket page of our ordering process.
Delivery charges
Delivery can be made to the countries in the European Union as well as the United Kingdom.
We will deliver orders in accordance with the delivery rates detailed on our Delivery page. Whenever referred to, work days exclude Saturday, Sunday and Bank Holidays. Any delivery timescales are indicative only.
We reserve the right to change our shipping charges.
Acknowledgement and acceptance of your order
We will notify you by email as soon as possible to acknowledge receipt of your order and to provide you with an order number. If we are unable to fulfil your order following this acknowledgement, we will contact you by email or telephone advising you of this. Our acceptance of your order will take place upon despatch of the product(s) ordered. If you require any information concerning your order please email us quoting your order number. We may not accept your order if we have identified a product or pricing error or if we are unable to obtain authorisation for your payment. Please note that we reserve the right to reject any offer to purchase by you at any time.
Availability
All items are subject to availability. We will inform you as soon as possible if the goods you have ordered are not available.
Inspection
You should inspect the products upon receipt and check that everything specified is included. You will be deemed to have accepted the order unless you notify us upon receipt that there is a problem or you cancel your order in acceptance with your cancellation right and/or you return the goods in accordance with our returns policy and procedure. If you fail to take such action, we are not obligated to accept any rejection by you of the goods at a later date.
Payment
Payment can be made by any of the following methods; Major credit cards. Payment will be debited and cleared from your account at the point at which your order is placed. You confirm that the credit card being used is yours. Please note that all credit/debit cardholders are subject to validation checks and authorisation by the issuer of the card. If the issuer of your payment card refuses to pay or does not for any reason authorise payment to Highbank Orchards, we will not be liable for delay or non-delivery of goods. We retain the legal ownership of all goods until full payment has been made by you and received by us and legal ownership of the goods will immediately transfer back to us if we refund any payment for the goods to you. Risk in the goods transfers to you upon delivery.
Highbank Orchards uses Stripe to process all card payments. Stripe is a leading payment service provider and complies with all the PCI DSS. They are certified at PCI Service Provider Level 1, the highest level of certification available in the payments industry The Payment Card Industry Data Security Standard (PCI DSS) is a worldwide information security standard which dictates how sensitive details such as credit card numbers should be handled, stored and transmitted.
Legally binding contract
Please remember that when we accept your submitted order for goods on this website, there will be a legally binding contract.
Cancellation rights
Personalised and food items can only be returned or exchanged if faulty. Where goods are delivered to a third party you may exercise your right to cancel if you are able to return the goods to us.
If you wish to cancel your order before despatch, please contact us.
Highbank Orchards Tours General Terms & Conditions
We look forward to welcoming you to Highbank Orchards and wish you an enjoyable visit
- A request for booking does not qualify as a firm booking.
- There are limited guided tours timeslots available to groups, and will be allocated pending availability and must be booked and confirmed prior to date of visit.
If for some unforeseen circumstance we are unable to provide a guide tour a non-guided visit will be offered, and the relevant rates will apply.
Parts of the orchard may not be suitable for people with limited mobility. If you have any concerns, please contact us before visiting.
Bookings can only be cancelled or amended by Highbank Orchards - Access to parts of the orchards and farms due to machinery and seasonal work, may be subject to change at short notice.
In the event of severe weather warning/exceptional events, Highbank Orchards reserve the right to close at short notice. Highbank Orchard closures will be announced on social media and our web site www.highbankorchards.com It is the responsibility of the tour operators to ensure that Highbank Orchards is open for business prior to arrival.
Our Cancellation Policy is 3 days (72 hours) before arrival time - Group bookings should be made at least 2 weeks in advance of visit and re-confirmed by email [email protected] or phone to 00 353 (0) 567729918 at least 48 hours in advance of visit
- For the guided tours the maximum size of a group inclusive of group leaders is 76 people. For groups in excess of 76 people multiple time slots must be booked.

Self-Guided Tours
For self-guided visits, the maximum size of a group inclusive of group leaders is 7 (staggered entry available for larger groups).
We ask that all visitors stay on the marked route provided.
Payment
Payment is due on arrival where groups and self-guided tours have not been prepaid.
The tour leader may pay by cash, credit card at Highbank Farm Shop. Failure to present a method of payment prior to commencement of visit, may result in admission been refused.
On Arrival:
- Group leaders should advise Highbank Orchards of any possible delay on the day before arrival. Highbank Orchards reserves the right to reschedule a visit if the group arrives late for their allocated time. On arrival, the group leader must check in at Highbank Farm Shop Please ensure that the group gather in the Bus Carpark and are ready to begin their visit at their allocated timeslot, please note that it is also an emergency evacuation assembly area
- Highbank Orchard Tour leader will collect the group and its leader(s) from the carpark when the time comes to commence the tour
Toilet facilities are on site
The Visit
To ensure that all our visitors have an enjoyable experience at Highbank Orchards we are asking for the full cooperation of Tour Leaders regarding the following guidelines.
In the interest of Health & Safety on site, all visitors including couriers must abide by Highbank Orchards Staff’s instructions
- The courier and the group must follow the designated tour route unless instructed otherwise by a member of our staff for both guided and self-guided tours
- Self-Guided and Guided Tours routes may be altered at any time for operational reasons.
- Photographs video recording are permitted for private and personal purposes only, No Video recording on guided tour.
- As part of Highbank Orchards Child Protection Policy persons under 18 must be accompanied by an adult.
- Highbank Orchard staff will treat all customers with respect and dignity and our customers are requested to treat staff and other visitors in a similar manner. Highbank Orchards reserves the right to withdraw services to anyone who engages in abusive behaviour towards our staff and/or visitors.
Gift Voucher Policy
Our traditional gift vouchers are available to purchase in person or by phone, while electronic gift vouchers are available online. Electronic gift vouchers can be used in the same way as a traditional card, and if you prefer, we can send a physical gift card to the recipient or purchaser of the electronic gift voucher.
Vouchers cannot be redeemed for cash and are non-refundable. Redemption of the voucher is strictly subject to availability.
Vouchers are the sole responsibility of the holder; Online vouchers can be redeemed by presentation of the voucher directly at Highbank Farm Shop or on line.
Monetary value vouchers can be used for more than one transaction, but cash refunds are not permitted.
By purchasing a voucher online, the purchaser and recipient agree to be bound by the full terms and conditions of voucher purchase
Data collection and use are subject to the privacy policy of Highbank Orchards. Specifically, data is only collected to complete or support an activity, namely the voucher purchase. No other use is made of the collected personal information, and in particular, the information is never passed to third parties without permission.
Safety and Conduct:
- Visitors must adhere to posted safety signs and instructions from staff.
- Wearing appropriate footwear is recommended, especially on a rural farm. You must wear closed shoes such as trainers, or boots/wellies that you don't mind getting wet or muddy. Sandals are not suitable
- Please dress for the weather, waterproofs, sunhats and sun cream if necessary and dress appropriately for a farm visit - white is not a good colour to wear!
We are unable to accept any responsibility for damage to shoes or clothing. - Highbank Orchards may reserve the right to refuse entry or remove visitors whose behaviour is deemed inappropriate, with no refunds.
- Children and under 18 are the responsibility of their parents/guardians at all times including following safety advice.
- Visitors should check Highbank Orchards opening times before visiting.
- Highbank Orchards is not responsible for incorrect information on external websites.
- Highbank Orchards reserves the right to change prices or withdraw promotions.
- Highbank Orchards has a zero-tolerance policy for illegal activities like drug use
