Highbank Orchards were thrilled to be part of the wonderful Ballymaloe Litfest again this year and returned to The Big Shed
which is the throbbing heartbeat of the festival.The space may be big, but the atmosphere is cosy. Gardeners again interacted with cooks, foragers with food historians, critics with musicians, artisan food producers with bloggers, writers with readers and so on. There will be brewers, bakers, and candlestick makers. Under this great roof there was a bubbling stew of ideas, thoughts and conversations. There were delicious things to eat and drink, great books read, songs sung, toes tapped and tunes hummed.
Highbank were thrilled to have on show their award winning organic syrup and Ciders along with their new range of Single Estate Spirits, including Apple Crystal Gin and Liqueur Irish Brandey. Thank you Ballymaloe, as always, for the most inspirational festival of the year!!
